The Cook 1 (Lead) position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and time management skills. This role involves preparing orders quickly and efficiently to menu specifications, rotating inventory, ensuring product freshness, and maintaining stocked stations. The cook will be responsible for preparing all recipes pertaining to the current food menu, possessing thorough knowledge of all menu items for all stations, and using creativity with specials. Additionally, the cook must be knowledgeable about all equipment and cleaning procedures, consistently filter fryers, and ensure the setup for the following shift is complete.
