About The Position

At our Clubhouse, you’ll have the opportunity to support the kitchen in creating healthy, tasty meals for community youth, inspired by GREAT values: Generosity, Respect, Encouragement, Accountability, and Trustworthiness. Boys & Girls Club is committed to practicing those values to create a community organization where you can be sure you’re making a difference. We are looking for applicants available to work the same hours/shift every day Monday through Friday, likely from 9am to 2pm. This role also includes some evenings and weekends throughout the year. This position does require that you be over the age of 21 with a valid driver license and clean driving record. Applicants with a desire to commit to a culinary career are preferred, but no experience is required.

Requirements

Must be over the age of 21
Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record
Must pass Drug Test (for drugs illegal in the state of Nevada)
Must Pass Background Check
Must provide references
Enjoys being busy with a structured and orderly series of tasks
Great speaking and customer service skills to communicate effectively with team
Dedicated to local community and youth
Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Applicants must be or become ServSafe certified within 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize spaces and equipment
Pickup and deliver large amounts of cooked food in food trucks
Receive and unload shipments of food products
Moving large amounts of inventory
Washing dishes and utensils
Taking out trash
Driving food to area locations
Maintaining the safety of our children and staff, and ensuring an optimal experience for all
