Marymount University’s Early Learning Academy seeks a PT Kitchen Assistant to prep food for the University's Early Learning Academy. This role involves managing the ELA kitchen M-F 10 AM - 1 PM. Compensation for this position is $20/hour.

Requirements

• Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of sanitary food handling and proper storage temperatures.
• Multitasking: Strong organizational skills to work efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe Certification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Setting up workstations with necessary equipment and ingredients (washing dishes, sanitizing counters, etc.).
• Washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, and slicing fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• Measuring and distributing catered lunches according to standardized portions.
• Storing food items, labeling ingredients, maintaining supply inventory and maintaining food safety standards.
• Deliver food to classrooms during lunch and collect dishes after lunch.
