About The Position
Responsible for providing assistance in the daily preparation of the school lunch program in charter schools with limited equipment. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.
Requirements
- High School or Equivalent
- Ability to operate Point of Sale system with accuracy and reconcile monies daily.
- Willingness to participate in training, including PGI Classes.
- Ability to serve meals daily while complying with all school food regulations and health department sanitation standards.
- Ability to pursue upcoming regulatory changes and provide sustainable solutions.
- Ability to create positive relationships with the surrounding community.
- Ability to assist in the set up and cleanup of serving areas.
- Ability to follow menu and recipe instructions independently.
- Frequent lifting of forty (40) pounds
- Constant standing and walking
- Frequent squatting, reaching, and stooping
