About The Position

As a valuable member of the Ford Performance Centre team, you will deliver winning service in a high-paced, high-volume environment. You will work under the direction of the Head Chef and Sous Chef to assist in the preparation of various food products. Operate and clean the conveyor dishwashing machines and pot washer in a safe, organized and efficient manner. Scrape and thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and return to designated area. Adhere to WHMIS and MSDS principles to safely handle cleaning supplies and other chemicals. Sweep and mop floor, clean counters and shelves, and collect and remove recycling and waste. Assist in the receiving and storage of incoming product and delivery of supplies to proper areas. Empty and clean recycling bins; storage, drop off and disposal of recycling bins. Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies including Health & Safety. Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Perform other cleaning and kitchen duties as required.

Requirements

  • Must have experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Ability to work non-standard work weeks including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be available to work all Toronto Maple Leafs / Marlies practice dates

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dishwashing experience in a fast passed environment is an asset
