About The Position
The Kitchen Assistant will aid in the overall functions of the Elder Center kitchen such as assisting with cooking and meal preparation, delivering meals to Elders homes, along with maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Must maintain a positive working relationship with Elder Center staff and guests by communicating in a respectful and helpful manner. Will assist with Elder Center activities, as requested.
Requirements
- Up to six months of applicable experience in a similar position
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with cooking and meal preparation
- Delivering meals to Elders homes
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with Elder Center staff and guests by communicating in a respectful and helpful manner
- Assisting with Elder Center activities, as requested
