About The Position

Spring Arbor of Greenville is looking for a dependable Kitchen Assistant to support our dining team in preparing and serving meals our residents look forward to every day. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen and helping create great dining experiences. The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties. Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must have an awareness of safety practices.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Kitchen and serving experience preferred
• A strong work ethic and reliability
• A team-player attitude and attention to detail
• No license or certification required
• Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.
