About The Position

Spring Arbor of Greenville is looking for a dependable Kitchen Assistant to support our dining team in preparing and serving meals our residents look forward to every day. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen and helping create great dining experiences.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must have an awareness of safety practices.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Kitchen and serving experience preferred
• A strong work ethic and reliability
• A team-player attitude and attention to detail
• Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables
• Bus tables
• Wash dishes
• Assist the Cook as needed
• Complete cleaning duties
• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.
