Requirements

• Must be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
• Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be a high school graduate or have completed GED
• Must have current food handler’s permit
• Must be able to lift 35-40 lbs.
• Has prior job-related experience
• Has excellent customer service and a positive attitude
• Is an independent worker
• Is flexible
• Demonstrates an attitude of support and encouragement
• Can participate in yearly regulatory training
• Can complete a successful background check
• Willingness to complete CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and serve school lunches within designated timelines
• Assist Kitchen Manager with receiving food orders and re-stocking shelves
• Assist Kitchen Manager with daily starting and closing procedures
• Ensure all regulations related to food handling are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the school kitchen
