About The Position

Alto Wheaton is hiring a Part-Time Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher. This role offers predictable hours, a supportive team, and work in a senior living environment. The primary responsibility is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties. The kitchen team is essential to providing a dining experience that residents look forward to daily. This position offers consistent, predictable hours with no late nights.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must have an awareness of safety practices.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace.

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months of food service or kitchen experience preferred
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high-quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.
• Set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.
