As the Cook, you’ll play an essential role in providing well balanced meals to children according to CACFP Meal Pattern Guidelines while maintaining safe and sanitary food service practices. Your day will involve preparing meals based on a created menu according to the CACFP Meal Pattern Guidelines for children birth to five years old. You will maintain safe and sanitary food practices in accordance with state and local requirements as well as Serv Safe Manager Level Practices. You will also ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, refrigerator, freezers, stoves and ovens.
