Kit Assembly Technician- 2nd shift
About The Position
The Kit Assembly Technician will be responsible for final packaging, labeling and sealing of products (liquid and/or diagnostics) with appropriate documentation as required by current company policy and regulations. This is a second shift position, working from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. FUJIFILM Biosciences is dedicated to advancing life sciences through a comprehensive portfolio of products and services. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Good work history.
- General education (high school).
- Knowledge of metric system.
- Ability to understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Must be able to work overtime as product demands dictate.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect product for content (volume) and label accuracy.
- Kit product in final box configuration in accordance to product family requirements.
- Ability to use shrink seal equipment.
- Maintains and ensures completeness and accuracy of all documentation associated to work performed.
- Ability to navigate through electronic documentation system.
- Responsible for transactions associated with components and supplies used for batch; to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow line clearance requirements to maintain cGMP and cGLP in all work areas.
- Quarantines product and completes all necessary documentation.
- Suggest changes in departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Assembles product final kit.
- Assist with lab glassware preparation.
- Assist in other production duties as assigned by supervisor.
