About The Position

This full-time, temporary position works on the festival site near Salmo, BC, starting ASAP until July 28, 2026. The Kiosk & Ice Manager is responsible for the successful operation of All Beverage Kiosks and Ice Sales. They hire, train, manage, and oversee the Beverage Kiosk & Ice Sales teams to ensure members receive the highest level of customer service possible. Maximizing revenue potential, and eliminating any potential for leakage.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in Retail and Cash Management .
  • At least 3 years experience Managing a team of 10 or more.
  • Team player with strong Leadership qualities and ability to motivate.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexible and able to respond to changes in working conditions.
  • Patient in performing repetitive tasks.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Comfortable working in small confined spaces as well as outdoors and long hours.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse work space without personal judgments or bias.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in office administration or finance as an asset.
  • Festival experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall stock levels, manage distribution to outlets, and account for any damaged stock returned.
  • Maintain a detailed log of all inventory signed out from the reefer pad, including location and time.
  • Assist with the delivery and restocking of beverages across the site.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the Beverage Kiosk & Ice Sales teams to ensure efficiency and high-quality customer service.
  • Serve as the main liaison between Beverage Kiosks, Ice Sales, and other departments, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Work closely with clerks and cashiers to maintain accurate records and cash handling, providing additional training as needed.
  • Review end-of-shift reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and provide insights based on factors such as weather, customer trends, and operational challenges.
  • Upsell products based on directives from the Sales Director.
  • Coordinate all Beverage & Ice Sales schedules and notify upper management when additional shift coverage is required.
  • Develop and implement sales policies and procedures in alignment with Shambhala Music Festival’s mission.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and policies.
  • Continuously analyze processes to improve efficiency and reduce theft risks.
  • Review sales trends and provide recommendations for optimizing retail locations, décor, product selection, pricing, and overall sales strategy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
