Requirements

• 8 years of experience in database development with at least 3.5 years of hands-on experience with Kinetica DB.
• In-depth knowledge of Kinetica's in-memory, GPU-accelerated architecture.
• Proven expertise in performance tuning and optimization within the Kinetica environment.
• Extensive experience with Kinetica's native features, including User-Defined Functions (UDFs) in Python and Time-series data handling.
• Proficiency in Kinetica administration, monitoring, and security management.
• Expert-level SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance database solutions using Kinetica.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and User-Defined Functions (UDFs) to support application requirements.
• Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization of Kinetica queries and data structures to ensure real-time processing capabilities.
• Utilize native Kinetica APIs and develop custom Python User-Defined Functions (UDFs) to implement complex business logic and data processing pipelines.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Kinetica's native features, including geospatial analysis, graph analytics (GSQL), and time-series functions. Drive the adoption and implementation of these features to solve complex business problems.
• Design and manage data models and schemas.
• Implement and oversee efficient data ingestion pipelines into the Kinetica database.
• Work closely with data scientists, application developers, and business analysts to understand their data needs and provide effective database solutions.
