  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably with clinical outpatient rehabilitation experience in areas such as WorkSafe CRP Program, ICBC, JSV, return to work/brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, and home safety ergonomics is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist.
  • Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
  • Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts regularly.
  • Responsible for the marketing and growth of the kinesiology department through analysis of the stakeholders to create a strategic marketing plan with the assistance of the clinic director.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
  • Conduct group orientation and education lectures, and regular one-on-one education to clients.
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
  • Ensure return-to-work plans with the client and employer have been made and documented in the client's chart.
