Requirements
- Has a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with older adults in a hospitality or health care setting.
- Certificate from a fitness related organization such as CanFit Pro.
- Knowledgeable in teaching exercise classes to older adults.
- Demonstrates that they are self-directed, accountable, an effective problem-solver and team leader.
Responsibilities
- Provides diversified wellness programs to help meet the physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs of our Retirement Community Residents.
- Maintains effective communication and solid relationships with Residents, families, Managers and team members.
- Plans, organizes and submits programs, seminars, speakers to the Manager for inclusion in the monthly calendar.
- Assists and supports other department managers, as needed; e.g. Anniversary Parties, Marketing events.
