About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher who is passionate about helping young learners develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports students' academic, social-emotional, and character growth. This educator creates a positive classroom culture, fosters meaningful connections with students and families, and collaborates with colleagues to provide an exceptional learning experience for every child.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Teaching experience in early childhood or elementary education preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Commitment to fostering a caring, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings
  • Professionalism, pride in work, initiative, a strong work ethic
  • Support parents as partners in education

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging, hands-on lessons aligned with Kindergarten learning objectives
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of young learners
  • Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of academic and developmental growth
  • Support students' social-emotional development and encourage positive peer relationships
  • Build strong relationships with families through open, positive communication
  • Provide regular updates regarding student progress and classroom activities
  • Participate in parent conferences and collaborate with families to support student success
  • Collaborate with instructional assistants and support staff to meet student needs
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and family programs
