About The Position

Concord Community Schools is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher for the West Side location, to begin with the 2026-2027 school year. The primary function of this role is to plan and implement learning activities aligned with the Corporation’s educational programming to continuously develop students’ knowledge and skills so that they are prepared to pursue college and/or career opportunities. This position requires recognizing the basic dignities of students, parents, families, colleagues, and subordinates, and exercising due care to protect the mental and physical safety of students. The teacher will create a safe, respectful, and orderly classroom environment that promotes students’ academic and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities include planning and implementing learning activities aligned with Indiana Academic Standards and Corporation-adopted curricular materials, assessing and monitoring student learning for responsive instruction, and initiating and maintaining collaborative relationships with parents and families. Continuous professional development to promote student learning is also expected. This is a full-time position per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Requirements

• The education and educator license or permit required by the Indiana Department of Education
