About The Position
Primrose School of West Orange is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as an Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher. This role does not require nights, weekends, or lesson planning. As a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher, you will build trusted relationships with families, provide nurturing care, and help children develop their foundation. Requirements
- Four-year degree preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children
- Degree or CDA in early childhood education and preschool settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for kindergarten children
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
- Implement positive behavioral guidance strategies and ensure a safe learning space
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Support individual learning needs and encourage social and emotional growth
