About The Position

Responsible for the safe, orderly, successful, and superior operation of the acac Kids Zone. This role involves managing the Kids Zone team, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Prior professional childcare experience required.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift.
  • Ability to stretch, reach, pull, push and use repetitive arm, hand, and leg motion.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook.
  • Park in team member-designated areas.
  • Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep the club neat and clean.
  • Promptly return messages.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred.
  • Prior experience with leading and supervising teams highly preferred.
  • Genuine interest in working with and interacting with children.

Responsibilities

  • Staffing the Kids Zone, including maintaining the team schedule, hiring new team members, and training.
  • Monitoring team member productivity, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Creating and fostering a team culture centered on achieving goals with a high level of customer service.
  • Conducting periodic and annual team performance evaluations.
  • Keeping the team and members informed of events and activities and encouraging participation.
  • Supporting and handling member issues, making decisions in consideration of club policies and procedures.
  • Creating and supporting special events to promote the department and club.
  • Maintaining regularly scheduled hours on the department schedule.
  • Ensuring equipment and work areas are in safe, working, and clean condition.
  • Collaborating with department managers to troubleshoot club-related issues and ensure an overall high level of success for the club.
  • Assisting with Service Day.
  • Assisting with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department.
  • Delivering five-star service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor at all times.
