About The Position

Lead engaging after-school tennis classes for students in grades K–5 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Create a fun, supportive environment where children can learn and play. Classes run for 1–1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work at least two days per week, for a maximum of 2–5 hours weekly. The role includes a two-day training session. Candidates must be local to the US or have a valid working visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• At least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
• Local to the US or possession of a valid working visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience teaching or playing tennis.
• USPTA or PTR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage classes of 8–16 students aged 5–10.
• Deliver lessons using provided plans to keep students engaged.
• Participate in a two-day training session.
• Set up and transport tennis equipment.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Communicate positively with parents and school staff.
• Provide constructive feedback on each student's progress.
• Take photos of children during sessions to showcase their progress.
