About The Position

The Kids Ministry Pastor leads the Georgetown Kids team to build and sustain a healthy ministry by creating irresistible environments for families that lead kids to Jesus, build trust with parents, and equip and empower leaders to serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Kids team at the Georgetown campus, including leading the staff team, coaching team members, building volunteer teams, overseeing the budget, maintaining church-wide alignment, and casting vision to families.
• Champion a vibrant, healthy leader culture for the Kids team by recruiting volunteer leaders, ensuring safety screening, providing training, building community among leaders, and appreciating their service.
• Oversee Kids Ministry environments by creating experiences for kids to grow with Jesus, in community, and on mission, ensuring excellence in execution, appropriate volunteer coverage, and proper use of supplies and technology.
• Serve on the Central Kids Team by collaborating with other campuses on vision, strategy, and leadership issues, sharing ideas for improvement, and maintaining good relationships.
• Support the Georgetown Campus Team by building strong relationships, understanding campus strategy, attending meetings, serving at events, and fostering communication.
• Maintain a consistent physical presence across the campus, including standing/walking for the duration of services and navigating between children's environments rapidly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
