About The Position

Part-Time Evening Opportunity at the Plaistow YMCA – Kids’ Club Staff. Join our Kids’ Club team at the Plaistow YMCA and help create a fun, safe, and welcoming space for kids while their parents enjoy the Y’s facilities. As a Kids’ Club Staff Member, you’ll engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, play, and social growth. From games and crafts to story time and interactive play, you’ll help kids feel supported and included in a positive, nurturing environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old
Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
Must be able to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected situations, both physically and mentally

Nice To Haves

Experience supervising children in childcare, play, or structured settings
Understanding of child development from infants through elementary age
Strong communication skills and a caring, compassionate approach
Creativity and energy to keep kids engaged and having fun
Previous experience working with children or youth is preferred

Responsibilities
