About The Position

The Kids Club Attendant provides a safe, engaging environment for children at the club. The role supports child supervision and safety and facilitates fun, creative activities that promote learning and development. The Attendant fosters a positive, playful atmosphere and helps parents feel confident that their children are in capable hands. The position reports to the Director Kids Club.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic first aid and CPR certification.
Ability to engage in physical activities with children, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
Ability to squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, and bend.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to talk, hear, and see.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting.
Experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs.
Familiarity with childcare health and safety protocols.
Interpersonal and communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff.
Ability to manage and engage a group of young children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages.
Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Treat members, guests, and their children courteously and use tact and diplomacy.
Connect with members and promote club and children’s activities by welcoming families, creating positive experiences, and providing fond farewells.
Promote youth and day care center amenities and programs while maintaining professionalism and service standards.
Coordinate age- and interest-appropriate activities and programs for children.
Actively participate with children and maintain constant supervision.
Address children’s problem behaviors appropriately.
Assist children as needed, including serving lunch or dinner and drinks.
Maintain the cleanliness of the youth and day care center.
Complete daily assignments, maintain Club standards and organized workspaces, arrange the entry area, and remove trash or debris.
Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, instructions, and safe working practices.
Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence when interacting with members, colleagues, and staff.
Maintain required role-related certifications and pursue personal and professional growth.
Address challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
Attend daily briefings and participate in required activities.
