Kids Place Team Member
About The Position
The Kids Cave Team Member provides a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children while their parents enjoy River Place Country Club amenities. The role involves supervising children, facilitating age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean and organized childcare space, and delivering excellent service to club families. The Kids Place program offers childcare so members can use the club’s fitness, dining, golf, tennis, and social amenities. The position works in an indoor childcare facility and involves frequent interaction with children, parents, members, and club staff. Schedules may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and special event hours. A successful team member creates a fun, safe, memorable experience for children, builds positive relationships with member families, demonstrates good judgment and attentiveness, and provides hospitality consistent with the club’s culture.

- Strong child supervision and safety awareness.
- Ability to lead group activities and engage children positively.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to actively participate in games and activities with children.
- Ability to work indoors for extended periods while supervising multiple children.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children in a safe, attentive, and caring manner.
- Provide age-appropriate games, crafts, activities, and entertainment.
- Ensure children follow Kids Cave rules and safety guidelines.
- Create a welcoming, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere for children and families.
- Monitor and maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized childcare environment.
- Assist with snack times and communicate children’s needs or concerns to parents.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures according to club standards.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or behavioral issues.
- Communicate professionally with members and fellow team members.
- Assist with special events, holiday programs, camps, and family activities as needed.
- Follow club policies regarding child supervision and safety.
