About The Position

The kidMinistry Coordinator is responsible for leading and supporting kidMinistry in a way where Life Change happens, One Kid at a Time. The role involves inviting others to serve by vision casting how lives can be changed while keeping Jesus at the center of all activities. This position requires a commitment of 40-45 hours per week, including regular weekend responsibilities and a Monday night gathering.

Requirements

  • Personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth through everyday habits and practices.
  • Support LCBC’s mission to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow him, along with our ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs.
  • Be a leader who is focused, collaborative, and growth-minded.
  • Lead the way in LCBC’s values: We run after the one, we pursue excellence, we prioritize relationships, we deploy people for impact, and we are real and relatable.
  • Be an LCBC Partner, or willing to become one within 60 days of employment.
  • Regularly attend and participate at LCBC prior to and/or upon employment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and own all kidMinistry programs, operational systems, processes, and guidelines.
  • Implement kidMinistry at the LCBC location.
  • Engage in advancing ministry by continually sharing the vision of what we do and believe.
  • Uphold kidMinistry’s values: Engaging Kids, Empowering Parents, and Equipping Leaders.
  • Drive growth for kidMinistry attendance for both kids and volunteers over the previous year.
  • Understand and maintain a +60% volunteer-to-kid attendance by monitoring weekly.
  • Have a visible presence connecting with families on the weekends.
  • Develop new leaders by embodying, utilizing, and executing a Lead Small Culture.
  • Identify and grow a volunteer(s) to be the primary replacement leader(s) for your position.
  • Empower and release kidMinistry leaders, delegating to others to be the Church.
  • Support the LCBC campus team in the development of the local church community.
