About The Position

We are seeking a leader who is committed to actively growing in their personal relationship with the Lord and is passionate about communicating the Gospel in an age-appropriate way to the next generation. The ideal candidate is an organized people leader who easily makes adults and kids feel welcome, volunteers feel appreciated, and parents feel heard. Partnering with parents to help their kids have a strong relationship with Jesus is a primary focus. This role requires a positive, fast-paced leader who thrives in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, possesses excellent communication skills, listens well, and solicits actionable feedback. The candidate should also look for opportunities to help others discover their God-given potential and connect them to volunteer opportunities.

• Kid’s ministry leadership experience (staff or volunteer)
• Teaching experience or early childhood development roles

Responsibilities

• Be an engaging leader who provides direction, oversight, training and development
• Recruit, plan, and schedule childcare volunteers for all programming at the Greenville campus
• Regularly communicate with, care for, appreciate, and provide pastoral leadership to volunteer leaders
• Lead in planning and implementing leadership training and planning meetings, encouragement events and leadership parties
• Oversee volunteer onboarding process (placement, orientation, training & development)
• Own Campus Kid's budget
• Direct volunteer teams to identify and guide kids/parents toward their next step in their faith walk
• Lead Kid’s Ministry special events including Parent Dedication, Summer Blast, Young Christians Class, etc.
• Oversee Kid's weekend and mid-week services/programming
