About The Position
The Kid's Pastor is a leader committed to growing in their personal relationship with the Lord and passionate about communicating the Gospel in an age-appropriate way to the next generation. This role requires an organized people leader who makes adults and kids feel welcome, volunteers feel appreciated, and parents feel heard. The ideal candidate partners with parents to help their kids have a strong relationship with Jesus, is a positive, fast-paced leader who thrives in managing multiple responsibilities, and is an excellent communicator who listens well and solicits actionable feedback. This role also involves identifying opportunities to help others find their God-given wiring and connect them to volunteer opportunities.

- Kid’s ministry leadership experience (staff or volunteer)
- Teaching experience or early childhood development roles
Responsibilities
- Be an engaging leader who provides direction, oversight, training and development
- Recruit, plan, and schedule childcare volunteers for all programming at the Lucas campus
- Regularly communicate with, care for, appreciate, and provide pastoral leadership to volunteer leaders
- Lead in planning and implementing leadership training and planning meetings, encouragement events and leadership parties
- Oversee volunteer onboarding process (placement, orientation, training & development)
- Own Campus Kid's budget
- Direct volunteer teams to identify and guide kids/parents toward their next step in their faith walk
- Lead Kid’s Ministry special events including Parent Dedication, Summer Blast, Young Christians Class, etc.
- Oversee Kid's weekend and mid-week services/programming
