Towbin Kia, part of the respected Towbin Auto Group, is actively hiring an experienced Kia EV Certified Technician to join our high-volume, state-of-the-art service department in Henderson, NV. Requirements
- Kia EV Certification REQUIRED
- Automotive dealership technician experience required
- Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Experience with EV systems, battery systems, and charging technology
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Previous Kia dealership experience strongly preferred
- ASE Certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia electric vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform advanced diagnostics on EV systems, battery systems, electrical components, charging systems, and drivability concerns
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
- Utilize Kia factory diagnostic tools and follow OEM repair procedures
- Perform multi-point inspections and recommend additional maintenance when appropriate
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
- Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with Service Advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all Kia and dealership safety procedures
