The Keystone STARS Quality Coach is a vital part of the Keystone STARS program, responsible for guiding early education and school-age practitioners towards achieving quality through a Continuous Quality Improvement process, using the Keystone STARS Performance Standards. This role promotes participation in Keystone STARS, with a focus on upward movement within the system. The Quality Coach offers targeted professional development to support STAR level movement goals and regulatory referral responses. They serve as a resource, providing information, support, and assistance to practitioners in developing and implementing plans to meet Keystone STARS goals. Additionally, the Quality Coach collaborates with the Grants Specialist and grant processing partners to help providers access Keystone STARS grants and awards. Key responsibilities include reviewing evidence, interpreting Performance Standards, guiding programs in understanding the Standards' intent, acting as an expert on available resources, and making recommendations to practitioners to advance through the STARS process, submit grants, adhere to STAR designation and renewal protocols, and plan professional development/career pathways annually. This position reports to the Senior Quality Coach and operates out of the Early Learning Resource Center office, with a hybrid schedule that includes regular field time.
