About The Position

The Keyholder has responsibility for assisting with the daily operation of the Lilly Pulitzer retail store. This includes sales, serving the customer, and safeguarding the assets of the store. The Keyholder is expected to understand the overall concept of Lilly Pulitzer, including the lifestyle, the customer, the merchandise and the heritage. They will present and sell merchandise consistent with the brand, greet each customer and provide sales assistance, and know the merchandise on the floor to suggest items to customers. The Keyholder will also build a personal client book and use the EREG POS software system effectively for various tasks including routine register transactions, inventory receivings and transfers, and opening and closing registers and the store. Additionally, they will safeguard the assets of the store, maintain inventory integrity, prevent inventory shrink, and assist in performing inventory counts. The Keyholder will operate the store consistently with company policies and procedures and provide ideas to grow and improve the business.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a retail store is required.
  • Sufficient fashion credibility to sell merchandise to customers.
  • Initiative and self-assurance to approach and sell customers comfortably.
  • A high level of dedication, commitment and initiative to operate a store dependably and with minimal supervision or direction.
  • The flexibility of schedule to accommodate the hours typical of retail store employees.
  • Ability and comfort level to operate with an automated point of sale system.
  • Detail orientation necessary to safeguard the assets of the store, including cash reconciliation and inventory management.

Nice To Haves

  • A four year college degree is preferred, but not required for the position.

Responsibilities
