Requirements

Genuine passion for pets and interest in pet care and nutrition
Strong communication, leadership, and attention-to-detail skills
2+ years of retail experience with leadership potential
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Responsibilities

Provide management coverage as the manager-on-duty, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards when store leaders are offsite.
Uphold and reinforce company policies and procedures (animal care, safety, cleanliness, and security) to deliver a consistent, high-quality neighbor experience.
Perform operational tasks such as signage, price changes, and cashier record updates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Contribute to recruiting, onboarding, and supporting the development of team members through coaching and daily reinforcement of store expectations.
Drive social media content, liaison to marketing team, support local events and community outreach.
