Explore the potential of your pharmacy experience in an elevated role. This role will coordinate all operationally focused aspects of the 340B Drug Pricing Program across the pharmacy enterprise. This role assists in ensuring full compliance with program requirements, provides top-tier customer service to program stakeholders, maintains data integrity and tracks KPIs, and supports strategic product replenishment and supply chain initiatives. The position serves as a subject matter expert and liaison among internal teams, external partners, payors, suppliers, and software technology vendors to maximize value and to facilitate optimal program operations and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in pharmacy, healthcare administration, public health, finance, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare.
  • Analytical proficiency with Excel and data visualization/reporting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Ability to rapidly develop proficiency and build upon new systems and tools.
  • Ability to execute projects, including adherence to sensitive timelines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate finance projects and enterprise trade secrets.
  • Organized and inquisitive with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to add value and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in pharmacy.
  • Working knowledge of HRSA 340B regulations, general program guidelines, and overall CMS compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with 340B TPAs (e.g., Macro Helix, Sentry, Verity), wholesaler portals, and pharmacy management systems.
  • Familiarity with ScriptMed, Brightree, or other specialty and infusion pharmacy dispensing platforms.
  • Previous experience in the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
  • 340B ACE Apexus Certification.
  • Experience working with EPIC, Cerner, or other EMR data integrations.
  • Prior experience with government programs, audit preparation or regulatory inspection processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central coordinator for operational aspects of the 340B program in contract pharmacy arrangements in the specialty pharmacy and infusion service lines.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and financial outcomes to ensure optimization and compliance.
  • Act as the pharmacy point of contact for external partners, TPAs, and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate onboarding and proactive maintenance of contract pharmacy relationships.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and collaborating on contract pharmacy agreements and renewals.
  • Ensure contractual obligations and expectations are met by all parties.
  • Coordinate data integration and validation across dispensing systems, TPAs, EMRs, and wholesaler data feeds.
  • Monitor transaction qualification trends and resolve exceptions or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile and ensure accurate virtual inventory replenishment and accumulation volumes in all partnerships.
  • Monitor dispensing data to identify trends, opportunities, or program risks.
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports on program performance, revenue capture, and KPI metrics.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting of 340B program revenue and inventory impacts.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure accurate 340B inventory replenishment via split-billing software and virtual inventory platforms.
  • Coordinate with wholesalers and third-party vendors to ensure timely ordering, replenishment and appropriate pricing application.
  • Troubleshoot supply chain or inventory reconciliation issues related to 340B NDCs and respective accumulations data.
  • Facilitate compliance with HRSA, CMS, OPA, and state/federal regulations regarding 340B program operations, including but not limited to Medicare requirements from implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and serve as lead for internal or external 340B audits and script verification requests.
  • Implement internal documentation and controls to mitigate risk of duplicate discounts, diversion, or dispensing communication errors.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline program/RCM workflows and systems.
  • Participate in software implementation, transitions, or upgrades projects related to 340B program management.
  • Recommend enhancements to policies, procedures, and system logic based on regulatory updates or business needs.
  • Perform key liaison functions between procurement and purchasing needs of the program.
  • Actively participate and provide support as needed to leadership and quality program staff to ensure activities related to the company’s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts.
