About The Position

The Key Operator is responsible for ensuring machines are clean, organized, and operating according to standard operating procedures. This role requires basic knowledge of ice cream production, focusing on understanding the 'why' behind processes. The operator must ensure effective handovers with the maintenance team and the next shift, reporting all faults and issues. A key aspect of this role is driving the production process to meet customer specifications, quality, and food safety standards, while also ensuring targeted outputs are met through effective control of the manufacturing process. The position also emphasizes representing The Froneri Way through behaviors and characteristics aligned with the Operating Model and Core Values, promoting a positive safety culture, and encouraging a sense of ownership among employees.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience

  • Quality and technical system adherence
