About The Position

Cotton On is hiring a part-time Key Holder at its Carolina Place store. The Key Holder helps lead the store team as part of management, opens and closes the store according to company policies, and supports customers and daily store operations. The role includes processing transactions, assisting with inventory and merchandising, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, supporting loss prevention, and training and mentoring associates. The Key Holder is expected to collaborate with teammates, communicate respectfully, and maintain a professional presence while motivating others.

The role is part-time, hourly paid, with a stated wage range of $17.50–$20.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Retail experience, preferably in fast fashion.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results as part of a team.
• Awareness and understanding of basic retail principles, including sales, stock, and service delivery in stores.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Solid communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of acting retail leadership or management experience that included leading aspects of the business and developing team members.
• Ability to move around the store throughout the shift or workday.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to regularly squat or kneel.
• Ability to safely use a ladder, step stool, or raised platform to complete required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead the store team as part of management.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control, restocking, and merchandising.

• Train and mentor new associates as needed.

• Act respectfully toward customers, managers, and peers.
