About The Position

The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers primarily perform Coordinator responsibilities and occasionally act as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. The position requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and involves supporting store operations, customer service, team performance, and safety.

Requirements

Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Able to coach, delegate, and follow up effectively on multiple people and tasks.
Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
Capable of multitasking.
Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Role-model exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for internal and external customers.
Promote honesty and integrity, and maintain confidentiality.
Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Ensure the store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer service issues and provide appropriate coaching to Associates.
Use discretion with customer service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
Ensure Associates follow operational procedures and opening and closing procedures are completed according to company guidelines.
Communicate priorities accurately and effectively with management and Associates, and provide progress updates.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback; provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
