About The Position

The Key Account Specialist is a leading driver of customer interactions and sales performance, acting as the face of the company's customer experience approach. They build deep relationships to deliver value for customers and patients, driving sales growth in a compliant and ethical manner. This role focuses on developing and strengthening relationships within the IDN space and driving sales performance through direct customer interactions. The position requires travel within four states (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi) and the ideal candidate will be based in Northern Florida for efficient territory access. The role is responsible for covering the designated geography with regular in-person visits and ongoing account management.

  • Project & Portfolio Management Expertise: Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices to ensure seamless execution, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery.
  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Ability to develop and execute high-level strategies for product launches, aligning project goals with overall business objectives while driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Candidate must be properly licensed and able to safely operate and drive an automobile in order to perform field calls on customers.
  • Must have a driving record deemed safe by Sandoz.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office when necessary for business purposes.
  • Willingness to travel over a broad geography required (approximately 25-75% travel, depending on territory).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize high-potential customers (HCPs and stakeholders) through data analysis to drive competitive sales growth.
  • Drive sales performance through skillful orchestration of positive customer experiences.
  • Engage in value-based conversations (in-person and virtually) to understand customer challenges, decision-drivers, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Personalize and orchestrate customer engagement journeys for target HCPs by reflecting customer preferences and leveraging available content and multiple engagement channels.
  • Build engagement by working in partnership with HCPs to develop sustained collaboration over time for Sandoz.
  • Deliver memorable, customer-centric experiences beyond clinical differentiation by listening to needs and understanding the healthcare environment.
  • Establish effective working relationships with opinion leaders and top medical influencers at the territory level.
  • Challenge current behaviors to improve the patient journey (right patient, right time).
  • Gather insights on the customer’s business to uncover what is important to them.
  • Follow up on customer feedback and translate responses into actions that create additional value and exceed expectations.
  • Leverage available data sources to create, dynamically prioritize, and adjust relevant territory, account, and customer interaction plans.
  • Share customer insights with relevant internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis to support the development of product- and indication-related content, campaigns, and interaction plans.
  • Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address unmet customer and patient needs.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the customer to help them run their business, listening to learn, deepening relationships compliantly and ethically, and creating value-add solutions.
  • Act with integrity and honesty, treating customers and colleagues transparently and respectfully with clear intent.
