About The Position

This role is responsible for delivering fiscal year financial objectives by devising plans to meet market and brand-level targets. The Key Account Manager will develop proposals, account and market plans, and forecast customer shipments and depletions. They will also develop joint business plans by leveraging and aligning with multi-functional teams in collaboration with the customer to understand needs and translate them into compelling programs that resonate with consumers. Maintaining strong field-level relationships by supporting the Distributor sales force in their execution of Bacardi programs is crucial. The role involves gathering detailed customer information, identifying and connecting with key decision makers to understand their strategic business challenges and priorities. The Key Account Manager will manage the full Bacardi portfolio within key accounts to maintain and expand SKU-level distribution, ensuring professional sales execution and account planning with the Distributor team. Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior and executive-level customer stakeholders is essential for driving mutually beneficial business outcomes and long-term growth. The role requires applying Revenue Growth Management (RGM) principles to optimize pricing, promotional investment, assortment, and profitability across customer portfolios. Analyzing shipment, depletion, distribution, inventory, pricing, and promotional performance data to identify opportunities, risks, and actionable recommendations is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success managing annual customer agreements, A&P investments, pricing discussions, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience applying Revenue Growth Management (RGM) principles, including pricing strategy, promotional effectiveness, assortment optimization, and profitability analysis.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Highly skilled in business planning, forecasting, and performance management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience leveraging data and analytics to support customer recommendations and decision-making.

Responsibilities
