About The Position

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to build strong partnerships with new clients while maximizing the value of our existing customer base. This is an individual contributor role. The Key Account Manager will play a leading role in maintaining and growing business relationships with our clients by optimizing their accounts, identifying new opportunities, and acquiring new customers.

Requirements

  • Experience selling industrial products
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently from a home office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must legally be permitted to work in Canada, without any additional sponsorship support from SPI Heath and Safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with health and safety products and solutions is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with assigned clients
  • Identify untapped opportunities, uncover customer pain points and needs, and drive organic revenue growth
  • Manage accounts to ensure SPI delivers the highest level of service required
  • Collaborate with the SPI team to ensure all customer issues are resolved efficiently
  • Manage communication between key accounts and internal support teams
