About The Position

This is a consultative role, not a transactional one. Our best account managers earn a position as trusted advisor to the Head of Procurement or the Head of the Procurement Centre of Excellence. They understand what the customer’s organisation is trying to achieve, often before the customer has articulated it, and they build the expansion path from there. Growth at Sievo comes from insight into the customer’s world, not from pushing product.

Requirements

  • Background in procurement SaaS or procurement consulting
  • Advised procurement leaders on their operating model, category strategy, or analytics capability, or sold and grown procurement technology accounts
  • 5+ years in account management, customer success, or B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience managing six-figure enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders
  • A consultative selling style: you ask before you pitch, and you’re comfortable challenging a customer’s thinking when it earns their trust
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders up to CxO level
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Tech-savvy, with a quick grasp of complex software
  • Independent and proactive, with a bias for action
  • Comfortable with global business and occasional travel (up to 30 days per year)

  • Other languages, especially Spanish, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationship for a portfolio of 15 to 25 global enterprise customers, including renewals, pricing, and contract negotiations
  • Build advisory relationships with CPOs, Heads of Procurement, and CoE leaders, and back that up with credibility among super users
  • Uncover expansion opportunities by understanding each customer’s procurement agenda, data landscape, and organisational priorities
  • Lead upsell and cross-sell initiatives across procurement, IT, ESG, and finance stakeholders
  • Partner with Sievo’s delivery and product experts to make sure customers realise value, adopt broadly, and renew without hassle
