The Key Account Manager partners with a diverse portfolio of Pharmaceutical clients to develop and strengthen strategic relationships through consultative selling and a deep understanding of client needs. By leveraging proactive business development and account management strategies, this role helps position IQVIA as a trusted advisor and long-term partner. This highly visible role is responsible for driving revenue growth in Reimbursement and Patient Support Solutions by identifying client challenges, uncovering new opportunities, and aligning IQVIA’s solutions to deliver measurable value. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support the successful launch, execution, and expansion of client programs while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/University Degree required, preferably in Business, Biosciences, or Marketing.
  • 5+ years relevant Sales and Pharma industry experience.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the health technology and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong networking skills with a self-motivated, disciplined approach to account development.
  • MS Office suite required
  • Approximately 30% travel, primarily to Montreal and Toronto.
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and working styles.
  • Team player with a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Patient Support Program (PSP) experience preferred.
  • An experience in market access is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French & English highly preferred.
  • Salesforce highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for consultative sales approach aligned with client accounts to drive business growth and strengthen client relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans based on a deep understanding of client priorities, tailoring engagement approaches to diverse stakeholder audiences while achieving revenue targets.
  • Partner closely with delivery, solutions, product, and multi-disciplinary teams to enhance client satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Lead internal cross-functional teams to identify innovative solutions, evaluate new opportunities, and address client challenges.
  • Manage program renewals by maintaining current contracts and leading end-to-end renewal execution for ongoing client programs.
  • Achieve growth targets across reimbursement solutions, patient support programs, and advanced analytics offerings.
  • Support forecasting and pipeline management through accurate documentation, contract tracking, and weekly pipeline updates.
