About The Position

The Coca-Cola Company's North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Advanced Hydration division is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive profitable sales of Advanced Hydration Warehouse initiatives delivered brands in various channels, including Small Format retailers and Distributors. This role involves leading annual planning processes, negotiating agreements, and resolving complex customer issues to achieve aggressive business targets. The division focuses on brands like BODYARMOR Sports Drink, Powerade, vitamin water, and smart water, operating with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to shaping the future of hydration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required
  • 5 Years National Account Management experience required
  • Experience managing JBPs (joint business planning processes) required
  • Must be located in Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; or Dallas, TX areas (within 50 miles)
  • 50% travel required by plane and car
  • Experience developing strong collaborative strategic relationships with national retailers
  • Ability to utilize and mine syndicated data to translate into fact-based storytelling
  • Solid computer skills in Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word
  • Strong understanding and analytical skills in understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distances
  • Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic leader responsible for the business management of assigned customers and/or channels, partnering with internal sales teams and sales brokers.
  • Develop and create joint business planning models for customers.
  • Drive the processes and execution of annual plans across assigned customers.
  • Deliver key business and financial metrics, including revenue, volume, share, trade spend, and T&E budgets.
  • Partner with Sr. Management and cross-functional teams to build Annual Plans to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead annual negotiations to ensure optimized partnership agreements that support organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and implement customer selling stories and provide key insights for execution metrics (Assortment, Shelving, Pricing, Merchandising, and Innovation).
  • Oversee ongoing account updates and performance reporting, problem-solve plan gaps, and recommend solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and leverage external relationships at major accounts to optimize SKU positioning.
  • Provide ongoing updates on customer plan results and opportunities to management.
  • Participate in key cross-functional routines to provide plan updates and ensure flawless execution of customer programs.
  • Provide customer input to annual plans, including Marketing, Commercial, and Innovation plans.
