About The Position

Cosette Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Key Account Manager, Oncology for its Miami territory. This role is responsible for executing the company's oncology commercial strategy by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including oncology healthcare providers, hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), outpatient and infusion centers, and pharmacists. The goal is to support appropriate product adoption and achieve territory performance objectives. The Key Account Manager will manage the territory through disciplined account planning, customer engagement, market analysis, and execution of approved brand strategies. This involves building trusted customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, compliantly communicating clinical and product information, and collaborating with internal partners to support access, product availability, and patient support initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong scientific and business acumen, the ability to navigate complex oncology care environments, disciplined territory management skills, and the ability to build productive relationships across various healthcare settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty healthcare, or related healthcare sales experience with demonstrated achievement against sales objectives.
  • Experience managing complex healthcare accounts and developing relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience selling specialty pharmaceutical products or managing account-based selling models.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems and pharmaceutical commercialization.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel as required, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory or be willing to relocate prior to start date.
  • Strong scientific aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex clinical information.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and institutional stakeholders.
  • Strong account planning, territory management, and business analysis skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed territory sales objectives and brand performance goals.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans that prioritize high-value accounts, growth opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Manage the territory through effective customer targeting, call planning, account prioritization, and performance analysis.
  • Analyze territory data, market trends, prescribing patterns, and competitive activity.
  • Execute compliant promotional activities and communicate approved clinical, safety, and product information.
  • Deliver effective product presentations tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Manage territory resources responsibly, including promotional materials, speaker programs, educational initiatives, and budgets.
  • Learn multiple products and services while maintaining business momentum.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with oncology physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, practice administrators, and leadership at outpatient and infusion centers.
  • Build and maintain relationships across community oncology practices, academic medical centers, hospital systems, and integrated delivery networks.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for priority customers.
  • Understand oncology practice workflows, patient treatment pathways, referral patterns, and account dynamics.
  • Establish Cosette as a trusted partner through value-based, clinically relevant, and compliant interactions.
  • Partner with Market Access, Trade, Patient Services, and internal support teams to address customer needs related to reimbursement, product access, distribution, and patient support.
  • Educate healthcare offices on available patient support programs and resources.
  • Support customer understanding of reimbursement considerations.
  • Identify and communicate customer access barriers, market opportunities, and field insights to internal partners.
  • Support pull-through initiatives within assigned accounts while maintaining compliance.
  • Compliantly partner with Medical Affairs to support scientific exchange and customer education.
  • Facilitate compliant interactions between healthcare professionals and Medical Affairs resources.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of disease states, clinical data, treatment landscapes, product labeling, and standards of care.
  • Capture and communicate customer insights, clinical feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends.
  • Support product launches, relaunches, and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Execute launch readiness activities, customer education strategies, and field execution plans.
  • Provide field insights to support brand planning and commercial decision-making.
  • Support successful adoption of new products and indications.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time, including CRM documentation, call reporting, and expense reporting.
  • Execute and manage approved speaker programs, educational initiatives, and promotional resources.
  • Operate in full compliance with company policies, FDA regulations, and other applicable laws.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, account plans, and activity documentation.
