About The Position

This role reports to the Sales Director for Running Specialty & ACG and is central to establishing Nike’s Outdoor Specialty presence in North America. The individual will collaborate closely with Sport Sales and the North America ACG team, bridging internal functions with the marketplace, and guiding an external sales agency to enhance Nike's standing with outdoor specialty partners. The position involves building and driving Nike’s Outdoor Specialty business in North America, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, connecting cross-functional teammates, shaping Nike's market presence, and leading the external sales agency to achieve strong results.

Requirements

  • Min 5+ year’s experience managing specialty retail partners and driving growth
  • Experience in complex, fast‑moving commercial environments
  • Background leading or influencing large cross‑functional or partner teams
  • Hands‑on operator — comfortable owning the operational details that keep the business moving
  • Strong forecasting ability to anticipate demand, manage risk, and steer the business
  • Solid decision‑making with limited information and a proactive mindset for improving processes
  • Strong understanding of Gross‑to‑Net (GTN) levers and how to manage profitability
  • Skilled at simplifying complex topics and communicating clearly
  • Works independently while supporting and informing teammates
  • Ability to travel up to 35%
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Sport Sales, the North America ACG team, Merch, DSM, Finance, Ops, Territory Sales, and the agency to align plans and move quickly
  • Lead and support the external sales agency—setting direction, coaching, and ensuring Nike is represented consistently
  • Own the daily business engine: forecasts, order book performance, shipping, pricing, and marketplace execution
  • Manage operational essentials such as samples, shipping follow‑ups, and issue resolution
  • Maintain disciplined G2N management to deliver sustainable, profitable growth
  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with outdoor specialty retailers
  • Set the tone as a self‑starter and energy giver who brings momentum to the business
