About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Key Account Executive to join their team in New Jersey. The territory for this position covers Morris and Essex counties, and the ideal candidate would reside within the territory. This role involves educating, instructing, and upselling assigned and newly generated accounts, acting as a liaison between clients and the LabCorp operations team, and providing ongoing service and problem resolution to the customer base. The goal is to ensure customer retention through superior customer service, recommend client-focused solutions, manage day-to-day client operations, and upsell the current book of business to increase organic growth. The position also requires working closely with senior sales representatives to grow the book of business, continuously providing educational material to clients, and resolving customer-related issues in a timely manner, all while meeting and exceeding monthly retention and upsell goals.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Salesforce experience
  • 2+ years outside account management or sales experience
  • Experience in the healthcare industry

Responsibilities

  • Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory
  • Function as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needs
  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base
  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service
  • Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive
  • Provide account management for client’s day to day operations
