The Ameren Illinois Key Account Executive is responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the business activities, financial health, and strategic direction of selected Key Accounts (large industrial and commercial customers). The goal is to develop strong working relationships, implement integrated business objectives focusing on improved customer services, and enhance profitability for both parties. This role operates within Ameren Illinois’ Economic Development organization, with a strong focus on Business Retention and Expansion (BRE). The Key Account Executive works to help retain existing customers while supporting their growth and expansion within Ameren Illinois’ service territory. This role also leads coordination with local communities, economic development organizations, and state partners to support business growth across the region on behalf of Ameren.
