About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Key Account (Sales) Executive to join their team in West Los Angeles, CA. This role involves educating, instructing, and upselling to assigned and newly generated accounts within a territory. The Key Account Executive will act as a liaison between clients and the Labcorp operations team, providing ongoing service, problem resolution, and account management to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. The position requires recommending client-focused solutions, managing day-to-day client operations, and working to increase organic growth by upselling the current book of business. Collaboration with senior sales representatives is expected to grow the book of business. The role also involves continuously providing educational material to clients and resolving customer-related issues in a timely manner, with a focus on meeting and exceeding monthly retention and upsell goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 or more years of previous outside sales experience or account management
  • Proven success managing a book of business
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Educate, instruct and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations team in relation to client needs
  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base
  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service
  • Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive
  • Provide account management for client’s day-to-day operations
  • Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth
  • Work closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business
  • Continuously provide educational material to the client base
  • Resolve any customer related issues in a timely manner
  • Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals on a regular basis
