About The Position

The Key Account Director at Blue Yonder will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management and growth of key customer accounts. This senior role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, a strategic approach to relationship management, and the ability to drive business growth through tailored solutions. The Key Account Director will serve as a primary contact for key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term success while aligning Blue Yonder’s offerings with their business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in key account management or sales, preferably in the technology or supply chain industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and achieving significant sales growth.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and teams.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems to manage client information and sales activities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management software and solutions, including AI and machine learning applications.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Serve as the primary contact for major clients, addressing their needs and offering solutions that align with Blue Yonder’s product offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, customer success, and technical support, to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of solutions.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and performance assessments to understand client needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to provide relevant insights and recommendations to customers.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
