About The Position

Serenity Healthcare is seeking a Ketamine Infusion Nurse to provide safe, effective treatment in a calm, supportive outpatient clinic. The nurse will administer ketamine infusions, monitor and care for patients throughout treatment, and provide reassuring support to patients and families. When not administering infusions, the nurse will support providers and patients via telehealth and assist the team where needed. The position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, with alternating Saturdays and no Sundays. The hourly pay range is $34–$37, based on experience. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire.

Requirements

• Current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Confidence with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish.
• Knowledge of medications, sterile technique, and infection control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient experience.
• Flexibility and adaptability as situations require.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively administer ketamine via IV.
• Care for and monitor patients throughout each step of treatment.
• Explain ketamine infusion treatment to patients and their families.
• Provide calm, reassuring emotional support during treatment.
• Maintain thorough documentation.
• Support providers and patients via telehealth when not administering infusions.
• Assist the team as needed and adapt to changing situations.
