About The Position

Responsible for accurately writing keno tickets and collecting wagers from players at the Keno counter and in areas outside of the Keno lounge. Provide prompt, courteous guest service in accordance to established department and company policy and procedures.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
Previous cash handling experience required.
Alcohol Awareness Certification is required.
Employee Gaming registration required.
Proficient in basic math skills.
Ability to walk at a relatively quick pace.

Previous Keno experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Effectively interact with guests showing patience, tact, and diplomacy.
Assist in the verification of payoffs, processing fills and W2G forms.
Write and run Keno in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Ability to walk at a relatively quick pace.
Manually calculate Keno tickets.
Practices good money handling skills.
Proficient in basic math skills.
Operate all functions of the Keno Computer System, Ticket Printers and Ball Drawing Device.
Stock supplies as needed.
Knowledgeable of Title 31.
Maintain attendance and uniform standards.
Encourage guests to become members of the Players Club, promoting the benefits of joining.
Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond”
Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
Always maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
Regular predictable attendance is required.
